Welcome to the Sunset Congregational Church a community of faith that seeks to respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed. The SCC was founded in 1961 as the union of several different Christian traditions:

The Alpha course is a course on the basics of the Christian faith, described as "an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian Faith in a relaxed setting,

As part of its ministry, Sunset Congregational Church offers its facilities and staff members for weddings of both members and non-members. Arrangements for weddings must be made with our Pastor, who is available by appointment Monday through Friday, for wedding information and scheduling you may contact the Pastor. Contact our Church Office for more details.

Sunset Congregational Church offers a no-pressure environment where all visitors are welcome. Our church is a Place of Second Chances where we know that God loves us all and forgives all our failings. It is through His grace that we learn to forgive ourselves.

Meet our members by joining us for Sunday Service at 10:00 am followed by coffee and doughnuts in Fellowship Hall
Baptism and wedding services are offered. During Sunday service we have child care and Sunday school. All services are available to members and non-members alike.

Mackenzie Allen Philips’ youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation, and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Four years later in the midst of his Great Sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend. Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack on a wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare. What he finds there will change Mack's world forever.

Fruit of the Vine
Jesus said I am the vine and you are the branches. Consider grapes. They are the product of the inherent genetics within the plant. As branches of Christ, we should bare fruit that reflects the influence of the Holy Spirit living within us.

Therefore, let us produce the fruit of the Spirit which is love, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Our fruit will give hope, and joy and a refreshing alternative to the ways of the world.
