Hello, my name is Miguel Angel Cañete, and I am the Director of Music at Sunset Congregational Church.

We worship utilizing both the newest and most inspiring praise & worship songs, as well as the most beautiful hymns in our Christian heritage. We believe that this combination helps create an atmosphere that is truly uplifting and inspirational.

In case you are wondering, let me tell you a bit about myself. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, to an Italian/Spanish family, and became a Christian at the age of 16. I did my musical studies at the Juan José Landaeta Conservatory, in Caracas, Venezuela. I also received a B.A. in Christian Ministry from Trinity International University, and later a Master’s in Theological Studies from Liberty University.

But as a worship minister what matters most to me is the fact that, as a young Christian, the Lord called me to lead others into His presence in true worship.

So whether you have been a Christian for many years, or you are just starting your spiritual journey, I hope you consider joining us at Sunset Congregational Church where we will together reach out to God in worship even as He reaches out to touch our lives with grace.
